I've only worn it a few days (everyday since it arrived), so far there are no problems putting it on and adjusting it. Even the straps are tugged hard, there has been still no sign of tearing, or fraying of the straps, nor of them coming apart. If you are worried about the quality of manufacture, you can put it through a "stress test" when you first get it. If something wrong, return it.
